The GrowEd is an inclusive garden education space that teaches people of all abilities how to grow food. We understand the idea of growing a garden can be a scary one, especially when you’re not sure where to start.

No matter your ability, there’s a place for you here where you can grow your learning! Welcome to Grow Education, or GrowEd for short.

Who is NJ Garden Teacher?

I’m Sonya… Educator, master gardener, and joyful soil sister behind The GrowEd! Across social media, I go by @NJGardenTeacher, a nickname proudly given to me by the brilliant former students in my afterschool garden class. I’ve been growing gardens and minds ever since. Whether I’m planting seeds or making content, I’m all about helping people of all abilities connect to the soil and to themselves.
